Under Canvas: Tents and Camping Equipment of Queensland’s defence forces (1860 to 1901) is now available for purchase as a digital (pdf) file.

Examining ridge tents; circular tents; officer’s and hospital marquees; and Indian pattern tents, it details not only their use in Queensland, but their history in British service from the early part of the nineteenth century.
